There is a ton of information about health, nutrition and what’s good or bad out there. Everyone has an opinion, and it has become hard to sift through everything to find kernels of truth. But there are a few things everyone can agree on. Drink lots of water, eat more plants, cook at home. While I can’t help you with the first one, I can help you tackle the rest.
What you won’t find here are recipes using low-fat yogurt, or boneless-skinless chicken breasts or hard to find foraged plants that you can only pick with your left hand during the spring equinox. If you’re into fad diets, I’m sorry, but go click somewhere else. Ditto if you want to spend three days cooking a lambchop in a plastic bag under water. This is a space filled with ideas, encouragement and support for people seeking balance through food. My goal is to help people take control of their health by preparing vibrant recipes that are simple, easy to make and delicious.
